Hello.
The reason why I created this blog is to share with the world and others the lies and cheating acts performed by an ebay seller named Christopher Duchenski (christopherd4965). He is a cheat and I will prove you why. I recently purchased an ebay Item from christoperd4965. The item is a Manchester United 2006/2007 Home Jersey (Size M). Here is the details of my purchase: Click Here or click the image below:

Hello.
I have received the item and I am totally shocked and pissed off. You know why? Because you cheated and lied to me.
The shirt you gave me is not an authorized original Nike Manchester United jersey. It is definitely Made In Thailand.
The shirt is definitely not original. I have an original Manchester United XXL jersey and I have compared the details. They are totally different. If you still want me to prove it, I can show you the difference online by snapping some pictures as proof. This is totally unfair and a rip off, the price itself is not realistic. How come a shirt made in thailand costs GBP20? I can buy it for RM30+ only here in Malaysia.
Not only to the fact that the shirt was not authentic and original, but the postage you used was not 'registered postage fee'. It is a normal airmail delivery, thus ripping me off with the GBP6.50 postage fee when it costs only GBP2.86 from the printed stamp sticked on the packet.
I wound want to seek for a refund from you.
faiz6567:
In all fairness, I will not report to ebay yet due to this rip off you did. I will repost back the item to you once you've refunded me back. I don't want this item because I wanted to purchase an original one.
I am a long time football jersey collector and I know how to differentiate original ones and fake ones (fakes Made in Thailand). Don't try to lie to me and say that this is a genuine item. I can prove it to you that it is fake.
Please refund me back and I will forget that this has happened. Don't ruin your 100% good feedback.

You want to know why I was pissed off? Because you lied to me in the statement you made here when you auctioned the item:
'THIS AUCTION IS FOR THE LATEST NIKE MANCHESTER UNITED HOME SHIRT SIZE MEDIUM. LOW STARTING BID. £20 POSTAGE TO ANYWHERE IN UK IS £4.50 GBP. LOW STARTING BID. THE ITEM WAS A UNWANTED GIFT FROM FAMILY MEMBER. SHIRT CAME FROM MANCHESTER UNITED MEGA STORE. HAPPY BIDDING. THANKS FOR LOOKING'
You claimed that the item came from Man Utd's Megastore. I can challenge that statement. This is not a genuine item and I can prove it. I've compared it with an original item and there are so many differences:
1. Tags are different. The design is similar to the fake ones made in Thailand.
2. The fabric of the material is not the same.
3. Sewing and embroidery quality is poor.
4. Other details are not similar.
I'll snap some pictures & show it to you if you still won't admit it. If you don't want to refund back to me, I will report to ebay and will show the whole world the proof
christopherd4965:
Sorry, but the gift u have recieved is real. Its from Manchester United themself. The mega store from which is under the stadium. The product i had was 100%. Show me the pictures by all means. Please. I will say it again 100% offical

This was my email to Christopher Duchenski which proves to him and to the world that
1. He sold me a fake item
2. He lied to me when he said that he bought this item from United's Megastore
3. He lied to me when he said he'll used registered mail and charge me GBP6.50, but instead used only normal airmail (which was cheaper)
You guys can read it, see the pictures and photos taken (comparison with my original XXL Manchester United jersey with the fake shirt Chris sold to me). You guys be the judge and let action or picture speaks louder than words...... :
Hello.
Still not admitting to me that you cheated me. I've been buying and collecting football jerseys since 1996, so I know my stuff. I gave u a chance to admit it before I submit the proofs, but you still want me to show my knowledge on it. It's ok... I'm not a fool to be cheated easily.
Here are the proofs that are so obvious that this is a fake jersey from Thailand. Fake jerseys from Thailand normally are produced on one size only (XL). Even though it's a M as claimed, it has some faulties....
First of all this is the picture of the shirt you sold to me:

Here are the proofs that are so obvious that this is a fake jersey from Thailand. Fake jerseys from Thailand normally are produced on one size only (XL). Even though it's a M as claimed, it has some faulties....
First of all this is the picture of the shirt you sold to me:
This is the inner collar of your shirt:
This is incorrect because how come size M is 45"/47"? This is a measurement for XL shirts! M size should be 40" (as checked in the Megastore website ). Fake thailand jerseys are normally made in XL sizes only. There are loads of these stuffs in Malaysia. In fact, the size details shown on the shirt you sold to me (GB 45/47, I56/58, F 56/58 & D 56/58) is exactly the size details of a shirt sized XL. Proof? Compare this to my Man United black away jersey which is 100% original and sized XL as shown below:
Those Thai imitators are very lazy to imitate correctly the proper size!
Compare the wording of the fake shirt you sold to me and my original Man United shirt:
Compare the wording of the fake shirt you sold to me and my original Man United shirt:
See the difference? The letters are different. The size of the AIG sponsors are not the same. The original one is bigger than the fake shirt you sold to me:
The club crest itself shows a poor imitation attempt. Compare it between your shirt (on the right) with my original shirt (on the left) in the left picture below. On the right picture below shows the low quality of the fake shirt you sold to me. See the stichings..... so poor! You call this a shirt sold from Megastore?
Compare the MUFC embroidery. My original shirt is on the left and your shirt is on the right. Very poor imitation quality. Is this the shirt you said you got from United's megastore?:
Compare the 'NIKE SPHERE DRY' printed logo. My original shirt is on the top, your fake shirt is on the below. Clear difference in size and quality:
Even the tags are very different:
On the right of each picture as shown above, is the original tag from my shirt. On the left of each picture as shown above, is the tag from your fake shirt. See the difference?
The original one should have a 'AUTHENTIC' tag and also a tag describing about 'NIKE SPHERE DRY'. And also the original tag should have a barcode label and size details and a small tag written with 'WWW.MANUTD.COM'. I have never seen a United shirt with tags written 'WWW.NIKE FOOTBALL.COM' instead.
Inner tags of the shirt are also so different:
The original one should have a 'AUTHENTIC' tag and also a tag describing about 'NIKE SPHERE DRY'. And also the original tag should have a barcode label and size details and a small tag written with 'WWW.MANUTD.COM'. I have never seen a United shirt with tags written 'WWW.NIKE FOOTBALL.COM' instead.
Inner tags of the shirt are also so different:
On the left, is the inside tags of my shirt and on the right is from your shirt. What a low quality tag inserted! Where's the black tag with a red nike swoosh logo? Where's the MADE IN MOROCCO inner tags?
Compare the inside of the shirts:
The original one's crest is not embroided directly to the shirt. Please prove to me that this is wrong because I have check this on all shirts sold in a Nike boutique store here in Malaysia. So obvious that they are different and fake.
The package you used to deliver the shirt is very interesting. It is somehow that you are lazy and re-used a package sent from Thailand to you (maybe). Why? Because on the packet is a previouly sticked postage details written in Thai Language:
I believe that you purchased this shirt for a cheap price from Thailand, delivered to you in UK. Then you sold it to me, which is a total lie when you said you bought it from Megastore. So many obvious proof show above.
And finally... Selling me a fake shirt is one thing. But cheating me on the 'registered postage' usage for GBP6.50 is really pissing me off. See the postage fee you used? GBP2.86! Where is the balance from GBP6.50 gone? When the item arrived there was no sticker of registered mail from UK placed on the postage.
So there you have it. Proof and evidence. I can use this to show to ebay and the world how you rip me off. Don't try to challenge me again.
I again will want a refund from my purchase. I can send back the item to you if you still want it. But I want a full refund. Because you lied to me not only saying that the shirt's 100% original, but also saying that you'll use registered mail. 2 huge lies. If you still don't want to refund me, I'll do the necessary.

Hello,
If your not happy send it back then. The moneys not a problem 2 me. The packaging is from thailand and thats true. It's from a item i got from there few weeks ago, and it's a easy way of saving money. Whats the point of spending money, when u haven't got 2 on packaging. 'Think u would do the same'. Just for reference you can check it 4 yourself, 200042659541 item code. You will see i haven't brought any football shirts from there or anywhere. Send it back, because i know your unhappy and can't be assed with the hassel!!!!! Thanks for your time!!!! Chris
* What a joke. 200042659541 item code? What kind of registered international mail is that? Still not giving up to lie and cheat me.

Last chance before I report your cheatings and asking ebay/paypal to settle our dispute. Please pay back my refund or else, I will take further action. Thank you
Anyway... lessons learned from here:
1. Don't simply believe that football jerseys bought from UK are all original items.
2. Don't think that you can cheat anyone easily
3. Try to be honest when you are selling in ebay. Once you are caught red handed cheating or lying, you will regret it.
My intentions for creating this web blog is not to humiliate Chris. But I want people to know what he did to me and I hope that others will not fall in the same problem that I had. I intentionally wanted to buy the shirt to give it to my best friend. How sad I am when I found that I was ripped off, the shirt was paid with a high payment and I was cheated on the postage services. So when you think you can fool people, always remember that other people can fool or outsmart you as well....

Hi Faiz
I got the same experience too. But not from ebay, but from one of the UK website! And the jersey I received is sent from Thailand!
dude...is it easy to get kits here in ur XXXL size?
I was wondering do you sell tht England 1998 Home jersey with Shearer 9 letter and numbering?I'm a big big Alan Shearer fan and have been looking for this jersey for a long time,I really hope tht u can understand a feeling as one of his fan to complete the collection. So if you do,please email me abt the price and etc to paparoach_shearer@hotmail.com
Answering hazryhazer's question:
dude...is it easy to get kits here in ur XXXL size?
Answer: No. The market here is only XXL biggest. In Indonesia, it is even harder, almost impossible to get XXL.. because Indonesians are mostly petit sized people.. There was once, I bought XXXL size jersey from one shop. They custom ordered one and the buyer didn't buy it. Maybe can order but it is very hard to get.. I normally buy XXXL from ebay.
I liked your work on this especially with the photo evidence. I love collecting shirts like many worldwide. Nothing worse than spending money on what you think is what is promised but turns out to be a dodgy fake. Happened to me once on ebay america the guy saying it was purchased from kitbag but turned out to be a copy.
Usually find those fakes are mediums and extra larges in majority but there are some genuine mediums and extra large sellers who sell the genuine article but may have people unwilling to purchase because of the flood of Medium and extra large fakes around.
Nice blog
thanks for the info faiz. im selling one of these today on ebay. authentic i must add. now i know what to answer the sceptics. glory glory!
hi faiz, it was such an informative blog. anyway i want to ask u pertaining a jersey of mine. its a united home 2009/2010 jersey. i bought it at a store in bkt bintang, forgot the name. the jersey seems authentic to me, but there are things bugging me right now. the nike embroidery seems bit slanted at the end of it. the aig logo isnt really parallel with the jersey. am i being cheated or what? do let me know asap =)

klaas-jaan huntelaar,
The jersey might have some printing defect which is normal.. I have one that is not printed properly as well.. The shop you mentioned could be either Al-Ikhsan or Real One. Both shops sells authentic jerseys..
If you guys are interested into jersey collecting, please join me at this forum: http://my-fjc.friendhood.net
Hey Faiz, might be a bit late commenting because this blog is pretty old. But I recently bought a 2010 Brazil FIFA shirt off trademe, a NZ equivalent of ebay. I'm not complaining about the price, even for a fake it's acceptable, but I have a sinking feeling this IS a fake. My seller assured me and this other asker that it was 100% genuine.
Could you possibly help with identifying whether it is or not? I've only got a few days to decide whether to get a refund. It is extremely disappointing because I bought under the illusion it would be genuine, and by the time I get a replacement, FIFA will be over. I could send some photos if you are willing :)
Cheers
nice lesson! haha! me personnally still dono how to examine authentic vs MIS jersey. I just go to butik to buy one because I'm curious about all the stuff at Al-Ikhsan.
Btw, friend of mine just bought spain techfit jersey which is made in thailand (stated there) but i dont think Thai ppl so hardworking to get all those box, arm band etc. what do you think? thanks mate.
great awareness here. Thanks for the update! joomla developers
